Biography
Playwright Carol Libman. Born in Montreal, Carol began her writing career with the Montreal Gazette. But when her one-act play, The Reluctant Hero, won the Ottawa Little Theatre playwriting competition, the die was cast. A founding “mom” of Playwrights’ Workshop Montreal, upon her relocation to Toronto, PWM honoured her by establishing the Carol Libman Resource Centre. Recent productions include: Leap of Faith, Lies and Consequences, A Very Different Place, Airport Tales, A Life Beyond Doubt, and several short plays, including Cornered, at InspiraTO.
