I’m a Cuban Canadian author, storyteller, poet, and playwright with 16 years of experience connecting with the world through art. I believe in the power of stories and theatre to shape realities.
I have published nine books. My writings appear in magazines and more than 20 anthologies in Cuba, Venezuela, Spain, Canada, Argentina, and other countries. My latest work is the poetry book, "Whispers from the Black Gods" (The Elite Lizzard Publishing Company, Canada, 2022).
I’m a member of several cultural organizations in Canada, including SpanicArts, Playwrights Guild of Canada, and FAVA (Film and Video Arts Society Alberta).
I was named Calgary’s Artist of the Month in December 2021 by the Immigrant Council for Arts Innovation (ICAI).
